Based in the heart of a region of industrial tradition, Foc Transmissions has a thorough knowledge of power transmission, including engineering and design, machining and manufacturing, maintenance and repair.
Working in various fields such as nuclear, railway, steel and cement, we participate in the development of French industry and its fields of excellence.

Our history
In the heart of a region of industrial tradition
1895
FOC is born
- The company is created by Messrs Faucon, Ogier and Chipier.
1925
FOC expands
- Creation of FOC WENGER in Lyon from the merger of two companies, FOC and Wenger (manufacturer of conveyors). Start of the gearbox activity.
1950
An important local player
- FOC WENGER is part of a group of companies (AMEFO, Fonderie de l’Isère, Fonderie de Voiron) owned by the company SLPG
1979
Change in ownership
- Takeover of Foc Transmissions by Mr Louis Drevet
1990
The new generation
- Bernard and Christian Drevet take over the management of Foc Transmissions
1997
The beginning of a passion for gearing
- Acquisition of Manquat, a company specialized in the production of precision gears
From 1998 to 2020
